What traders say after sitting with us

These notes come from workshop participants and coaching clients who agreed to share their experience. Names are shortened unless full permission was given.

I brought three losing trades to the workshop thinking Anh would tell me which indicator to change. Instead he asked me to mark where I moved my stop — and I had never written that down. Embarrassing, but useful.
— H. Vu, futures trader, Tan Phu
Mai's coaching pushed me to annotate the higher timeframe before the five-minute entry. My journal entries are longer now, which felt tedious at first. The habit helped me skip two revenge trades last month.
— K. Nguyen, forex part-timer
The masterclass on gap fills was dense. I would have liked more time on the exercise sheet, honestly. Still kept the handout pinned above my desk.
— D. Le, equities swing trader
My company sent four junior analysts for a half-day session. They came back using the same colour code for support tests, which made our internal reviews faster.
— Corporate training coordinator, District 1 brokerage

Case note: Rebuilding a six-month journal

Client: Part-time trader, primarily VN30 index contracts. Engagement: Four-week coaching package, March 2025.

When Linh arrived, her folder held four hundred chart screenshots with no consistent labels. Week one focused on defining a five-colour key: planned entry, actual entry, stop, target, and invalidated level. Week two applied the key to ten historical trades she considered "messy."

By week four she could open any screenshot from the prior month and explain the trade in under ninety seconds. She reported missing fewer journal entries, though she noted that annotating while the market was open still felt rushed — a habit she planned to address separately.
